4/23 - 4/27 Sorry for the delay in getting this out. I have been out of town for four days, and it is disconcerting how much can go amiss in a short amount of time. The Port Royal bridge was struck by a barge and has been shut down for a projected three months. Hence, all traffic has been diverted towards the old bridge through downtown Beaufort causing hours long delays. I am trying
to reset our labor force for the project to use Saint Helena and Lady's Island residents only, which I hope will be effected by Monday. So ... the roofing materials were delivered but the roofers have not begun metal installation as yet. Plumbers are continuing their rough-in and we are wrapping up interior framing and blocking details. Kitchen cabinets are ordered, insulation crews are scheduled and drywall is being bid. Every one in the area is realigning schedules to the new reality of access to the islands.
