Twenty-Five

7/16 - 7/20

The floors are sanded and have the initial coats of sealer applied. We will complete almost everything else then buff and apply the final two coats. I wound up changing the exterior hand rails to the body color (they had been the trim color), yielding to the many voices raised in protest to all that bright color on the front of the house.

Tile and marble are still being set in the bathrooms, as everyone has been trying to keep out of the floor finisher's way. Plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and appliances are being gathered. We selected and ordered granite for the kitchen tops. A lot of the furniture has also been selected and is being held at a nearby home we have for sale (on Dowlingwood Drive).

There are four schedules left to fill. Any member who would like to change from a previously selected schedule to an open schedule please feel free to let us know and we will make the change. We intend to order the C/O inspection in two weeks, then will schedule an inspection period for the following week (during which all members can inspect the property), followed by the loan closing and the schedule rotation. Also please let us know if there are any questions about the Operational Agreement for Gene Parrs (the Attorney for VIP Fripp, LLC and author of that graceful and brief document) to field. Won't be too long now (I would wager no contractor has ever walked so far out on a limb to utter those words before).
