A good week! We passed the ‘framing and strapping' inspection Monday morning and immediately began working on siding and exterior trim. The siding on the front and sides (yes, both areas that are out of camera range) are complete. My guys have been working on the Ipe decking in the back and the glass block on the sides. The glass block panels on the second floor and
in the kitchen are all done. The hot tub arrived and is sitting on the deck waiting to be set - it will be recessed flush with the deck surface.
Carl Delaney is nearly complete with the electrical rough-in. The HVAC crew has set both condenser units in the attic over the foyer. The duct work for the second floor is done. They will be moving to the first floor next week.
Doug Pine - the plumber - has delayed his return until next week (still recovering form his injury) to complete his rough-in. The next milestone will be the Beaufort County rough-in inspection - which will allow us to move on to insulation and then sheetrock and all the finishing.
