5/7 - 5/11 Traffic is still a problem but everyone is getting used to the delays now. The weather really pummeled us ... the sub-tropical storm (tropical storm Ana) off shore brought pretty high winds making Fripp Island's beach looked like a scene from a Hawaiian surfer movie complete with curling breakers. We made some good progress this week nevertheless. The roofers began
Tuesday and are 75% complete. Exterior trim carpenters are continuing on the cornice, siding, and door trim. Another carpentry crew is completing the framing details on the interior ... radius foyer walls, soffit and deadwood blocking, etc. After another week of this work we should be ready for Rough-in Inspection, which will allow us to move on to insulation and drywall - cresting the ridge.
