3/26 - 3-30 CD Electric began their electrical rough-in on Tuesday. The windows and doors were delivered on Tuesday also. The framers built the dormers on the front of the house, ran plywood on the front and side walls, and set the windows (all except for the two at the rear bedrooms). Doug Pine, the plumber, was injured on another job - the Weston Hotel on Hilton Head Island - and
will be delayed a week getting back to us. That should not delay us ultimately as we can not get the rough-in inspection until the roof is on. I would prefer the plumbing go in front of the electrician but will just have to work around it. I met with two kitchen designers to get competing bids and lay-outs. I have let the elevator and stairs contracts. Ray Collins will be doing stairs. He has done custom cabinetry and furniture for us in the past. Castel Elevators are installing the elevator and hoist way.
