Week Twelve

4/16 - 4/20

The plumbers finally made it back on Friday. HVAC workers finished their primary rough-in (other than punch work), and so did the electrician. The exterior trim carpenters are making their way to the back of the house now, so it has been fairly active in the camera's view as they frame the rear balconies and the screened porch.

The main entry stair is being fabricated in a shop nearby. It is scheduled to be complete in about three weeks - right after the sheetrock installation, hopefully. The hourly crew is working on odds and ends on the interior - blocking in around ductwork, building knee walls behind the bed frames on the second floor, etc. The roofers are placing felt on the roof in preparation for the metal and ‘hydrostop' roofing installation.

The weather has been great other than some high winds at the beginning of the week and one evening of rain. Still looks like a mid to end of July completion date, but we will keep on trying to make up time where possible. There is a lot of footage in this house and when we get to the finishing, all the bathroom tile will be slow, meticulous work.
