8/13 - 8/24 Two week have gone by in a flash. Hand rails are complete. Light fixtures are up. Plumbing fixtures are almost all installed, and the kitchen cabinets and appliances are installed - and they look very good. The granite and teak tops have been fabricated and are ready to be installed. Also, the interior hand railing is complete. Plumbing fixtures and electrical fixtures are
almost completed. Painting has been the most challenging of the subs, dabbling here and there and generally getting in the way. We are holding them off until the final touch-up now. Porch screening is going in now. There will be a lot going on next week to get completed. We are expecting final inspection the following week and then one week of open house for all owners to inspect the finished project, followed (at last) by loan closing and the beginnings of the schedules. 8/27 - 8/31 Labor Day weekend - the end of the summer vacation season is upon us. The rain has been torrential. The old concrete driveway has been demoed and removed - that was some tough concrete. We accomplished the permanent service inspection - the last one before CO and the hardest one to pass. The elevator was installed and the lighting control system is going in as well. The camera will be down as the lighting guys relocate the wireless router. I will set it back up in the house as soon as the system is back on line.
